Elementary and middle school students recently competed in the annual Washington Unified School District Spelling Bee. This year’s District winners are:
Elementary Spelling Bee (4th – 6th Grade):
1st Place: Felicia Morales (AUES)
2nd Place: Michelle Samkhann (WFMS)
Middle School Spelling Bee (7th – 8th Grade):
1st Place: Sergio Arranda-Salcedo (WFMS)
2nd Place: Luis Murillo (WFMS)
The winners will advance to the county competition which will be held on March 14th at Fresno State University. Washington Unified is proud of all of the students who participated in this year’s event.
